: Boatbuilding. If so, these pieces don't get a bevel edge at all.
: Only the laminated inner stem strips get beveled and only as you
: work your way up so you'll know how much to take off. The angle
: of the bevel changes slightly as you approach the keel.
: You're shooting for a nice flat gluing surface between the strip
: and the inner stem.

Hi Ian,

I looked at p15 in Macs book and it was not clear to me, so I checked Susan VanLeuvens book and she says to bezel the stem form even if you don't use an inner stem.
That is what confused me. What you are telling me makes sense.
I will instal the inner stem the best I can and if it does not work out, I will re-cut another bow stem and start all over again but not bezeling this time.
