Thanks everyone on the advice of bending strips to meet the forms. I reduced the size to 3/8 and with the heat gun am doing pretty well. I decided to give up on the stapleless approach to make things a bit easier. So now I have lots of small nail holes which I would like to hide as much as possible. I know alot of things have been tried but not sure which works the best. My own samples so far seams to favor using water base wood putty. It will swell the wood alittle and I can match the color pretty good. Has anybody found a better way to mnimize the appearance of the holes. Thanks for any advice Joe
