Cool!
The LL GB was my first choice a year ago looking into my first kit.
Laughing Loon doesn't sell kits, AFAIK.
Where did you buy the kit? I ended up buying the Redfish Spring Run kit instead.
Just starting to strip ....
Rob
: I'm having my first kit delivered to me in a couple of weeks. It is
: a Laughing Loon design, the Georgian Bay model. I like the color
: of the red cedar, but would like to throw in some white to
: offset. I ordered it with 80% red, 20% white strips. Is this a
: good ratio for a white deck around the coaming?
: Since this is my first foray into this type of thing, I was
: wondering what the best way to plan out the deck design would
: be? Is it just trial & error, throw it on and see, if you
: don't like it, take it off?
: Also, although I have ample time off of work to build this (several
: weeks at a time). However, I do need to leave for extended
: periods of time. I'll be building it in my garage in coastal
: South Carolina. Do you recommend getting a dehumidifier and
: keeping it running while I am away to prevent anything from
: warping out of place or anything?
: Thank you much guys
