: I use the wet and a heat gun to shrink the holes then I also use a
: water based filler but only right before I glass, after all the
: fairing is done. The water based filler sands very easily and
: that can be done by hand just before you glass.

One question do you get a light spot from the filler around the hole? I would assume you have to sand out any residual filler but that is not always easy to see. Do you limit the application to a small dot? Thanks for the information because I think this is using the best of both ideas on staple holes. Joe
