: It's pretty much impossible to make the holes go away completely
: with filler, but that said, they get much harder to see filled
: this way. I limit the filler to just the hole as much as
: possible, best to over fill, let it set up, then sand flush
: since most fillers shrink slightly as it sets and if applied
: flush to start with you'll have to re-apply to get the holes

Btw, this filler sands really easily, very easy to sand down the filler without making a depression in even soft cedar. And it doesn't seem to stain the wood around the holes, sets up in about 10 minutes or so, so really doesn't have time to stain the wood to any degree.
