If you go with 6 oz, it is cheaper and better to lay the glass on an angle if you purchase 6 oz. by 60 inch wide. This way you will need 18 yds for an 18 ft. boat. If you go with narrower glass then four times the length of the boat. 4 oz, comes in 50 inch wide and 30. 30 may be a bit to narrow for some boats. With resin, most kits are two to three gallons total with resin and hardener combined depending on ratio. With West brand I always sell 2 gallons of resin with two cans of 207 hardener. With four ounce glass, you may need a little less.
