well in most cases the butt is heavier than the feet.....I know a feller using a Jackson Happy Seat and he loves it. Kind of like Air Jordan for you butt.

I also saw several using some form of plastic sheet at Delmarva, I think the Yankees use it for a cheap sled up North. I thought it was a good idea because it would also keep the kayak keel out of my keel.

I have noticed when you see a SOF upside down, the outward dents from the cheeks are always deeper than the feets.
