Linda and I wanted to give Mike, the wilderness guy who is marrying us, some kind of gift. I had this cedar 2x4 at mom's that I was saving for myself. We have decided that I would carve a GP and Linda would wood burn our thanks to Mike on the paddle blades. Cut the wood today to reverse the grain. Gluing this evening, then start carving tomorrow. Should be nice. I will be sure to post pics once it is done. Should have 'er done by Monday and ready for the wood burning.
