I've done both necks and wrists. I replaced the neck and wrists on my wife's Kokatat and the neck on my Palm using gaskets from a local outfitter. None of the seals I bought were either Kokatat or Palm but they fit just the same!!

Replacing the gaskets is not rocket science - especially if you look of the procedure and think it through and do a practice dry run (Aquaseal-less) After you do a few it becomes very easy!!

I found that a plastic peanut butter jar I had in my cupboard fit the wrists perfectly. Add a few big elastic bands and your golden.

As for the necks, I made the forms (rings) from spare 4mm plywood. Here's s short blog entry on doing the neck:

And if you bugger it up, Aquaseal can be removed with relativley low heat from an iron.

If you're half-way handy, you can replace you gaskets and once you know you can do it, it's one less thing to worry about should it (and it will) happen again.
