I had to do a similar repair on an old dry suit I picked up this year. The short answer is that they aren't all the same, but the repair on the arm gaskets is not difficult at all. It isn't rocket since and doesn't require any special skills.

I can highly recommend NRS. Their kits were the least expensive I could find, but they did not sacrifice quality. The instructions that came with them were excellent. If in doubt, just call them; they are great to talk to. Their shipping is remarkably fast and their customer service is top notch. These guys know their stuff.
