Hi,

Stick to a 1-person kayak. Using a tandem for extra storage might sound good on paper but paddling/carrying/steering a tandem by yourself will be a real pain. Old Town have been around a long time and while I haven't paddled a Cayuga 110 I'm confident it won't be a dud.

Max. capacity is 250lb so that'll only leave you with 30lb for gear, just check that'll be enough 'coz the max. capacities quoted by makers are often optimistic.
