The best source for deck line is Neocorp. Use their polyester Sport Cord for deck lines and your problem is solved. They recently changed the name of their consumer-direct site and I can't find it. If someone has the link, perhaps they can post it here.

It sounds like your current deck lines are Nylon, which is why they shrink and grow with moisture exposure.
