I try not to go into to much detail in posts like this as they can get soooo long they aren't worth reading. My wood boats are S&G, not strip built. They are glassed on inside of the boat in the cockpit only. So the only glass is on the hull and deck for most of the boat. In both cases the damage was a combination of abrasion and cracking. When you have impacts like that, every ounce counts.
