: Depending on the kind of popup- the roof may or may not be able to
: handle the weight. It's one of those things, many people have

: problems. I have a Coleman pop-up with a roof in the middle of
: the years that were problematic for Coleman. I won't even
: consider putting the kayaks on top.

: Same with adding a hitch to the back of the pop-up. People have

: more claim it's a bad idea due to decreasing the hitch weight on

Doug: A few years ago I saw someone with a s&g kayak on a truck with a fifth wheel trailer. He put a hitch on the front of his truck (super duty) and had a ladder rack attached to that. He had it aligned to the center of his truck and the fifth wheel so that when he turned the fifth wheel did not contact the kayak. He also had a short bed truck. I don't know if this would work for more than one kayak.
