Real tough to get real smooth. Mine came out less then perfect but I couldn't even tell really after a couple weeks uses. I will always do this again on future builds as it has served me well on my Merganser. I did 3 coats total with light wet sanding in between. Remember Randy it is a boat not a piece of furniture!
