I cover mine
: with glass so want it flat and use very light aircraft dacron

So, you're using the Dacron to create a surface to apply fiberglass/epoxy onto
and saturating the Dacron with resin as you wet-out the fiberglass?

I assume this effectively bonds the Dacron to your frame.
Then you paint the exterior to protect the epoxy?

How long have you worked with this method? Any problems with the wood
holding moisture where part is sealed with epoxy and part not?

I've thought about building a SOF for some time, just for the fun of it.
Bending ribs with a heat gun would be fast and easy.

I've also been thinking about building a SOF teardrop trailer.
