If I understand correctly, you have the outside glassed, you've separated the two halves, and are ready to glass the inside. Is this correct? If so, you want to keep the width of the sheer line as close to the correct dimensions as possible. A good way to do this is to make spreader bars to hold the correct width while the resin dries. You can use scrap pieces of strips and cut then to length for the inside width at each station; just use the stations as a guide and number the strips. After you glasss and squeegee the inside, but before it dries, put the spreader strips in place to hold the correct width. If the hull is too wide, use some glass-reinforced packing tape to squeeze it against your spreader strips. Make sure you do this for both the hull and the deck, it's a simple measure that will make life a lot easier when it comes time to join them together.
