Hi Kirk,
I think I got over the 'slicing bits off' as a youngling* when a clasp knife shut on my finger. Didn't lose any bit but I've a nice scar from knuckle to nail on my index finger. The nerves kind of healed. Since then, it's been just minor nicks (for DNA marking various builds). :D
