My local hardware place carries rubber ended squeegie tools that'd be perfect for that job.
They're cheap enough, and they actually do work really well - my kitchen sink and bathroom are testament to that.

I couldn't find the manufacturers site (I think it's hydetools.com, but it won't show for me at the moment), but came up with a picture which may be enough..
