: of rambling, but I found it interesting that a number of the
: tribe were present for a launching and were able to paddle the
: canoe. This is significant because this type of canoe is iconic
: for them, and yet few of them have ever seen a real one, and
: certainly not paddled what for them, is a piece of their
: history.
