Re: Strip: Epoxy
In Response To: Strip: Epoxy *PIC* (Dan gallagher)
: Just received an 8qt kit of epoxy from Raka and noticed a
: considerable difference in the color of the hardener compared to
: the old epoxy I purchased several years ago (7-8 years). (SEE
: PIC) Can I still use the old hardener for seal coat and glassing
: ? It seemed to work well for filling holes when mixed with wood
: dust. I'm building a modified 14' Guiellmot and plan to use 6oz
: glass.
: Thanks in advance for your help.
: Dan Gallagher.
The old stuff will harden but it is going to keep the amber color. Save it for gluing stuff. Use the new for wetting out.
