: Just received an 8qt kit of epoxy from Raka and noticed a
: considerable difference in the color of the hardener compared to
: the old epoxy I purchased several years ago (7-8 years). (SEE
: PIC) Can I still use the old hardener for seal coat and glassing
: ? It seemed to work well for filling holes when mixed with wood
: dust. I'm building a modified 14' Guiellmot and plan to use 6oz
: glass.
: Thanks in advance for your help.

Most hardener will color as it ages, not really a problem except for the color. If it's to be stored for a long time, it's best stored in a metal container (lets no oxygen it, like plastic can) and in the dark (uv is bad for even un-cured epoxy) and in a fairly cool place. Oh yeah, take the pumps out and put the original metal caps on the cans.
