I've only built one. I was glad I did a deal coat, principally because it gave me some insight into what it would be like applying resin at all. It's really easy to do a seal coat, and I think well worth doing to build confidence before biting the bullet and applying it with glass cloth.

I did a deal coat on the hull, but by the time it came to doing the insides, I was feeling more confident and dispensed with it.
