I thought I'd mention that both of your boats look great. I'm pleased that ya'll are (mostly) happy with them, though I didn't have anything to do with the original design! I daresay that playing in the surf was probably not a big part of the design brief . . . .
I can say that my own Disko Bay turned just great - for me. Or, at least, far easier than the baidarka I usually paddle. "Just great" is pretty subjective!
