Based on the responses in the other thread, I think most of the 'old pros' on this site would disagree that the torch is typical. I've been using a hair dryer and heat gun. The hair dryer works fine for popping the air bubbles but the heat gun also helps smooth the surface (as long as you don't wait too long after mixing the epoxy).
