: The glue will re-set if it is not washed out of the joints. I have
: used warm water, a heat gun and razor knife to pry apart some
: mis-aligned strips and reset them. If I could pry them
: up/down/sideways without damage additional glue doesn't hurt.
: Try to get the strips aligned to the forms, filling such a large
: area with epoxy and fairing it would be an expensive, difficult

I agree completely. Just wet, heat, loosen and straighten as you have described it will work well. There is no need to waste epoxy filling and fairing. All that will do is add weight in the end, and waste a lot of your time compared to doing what you have already described now.
