: to launch the Guillemot L. The name of the lake is Forest Lake
: and it is about halfway between the towns of Bethlehem and
: Whitefield. Some friends and I drove up there on Friday
: afternoon and tossed her in. She does not track as straight as
: my Necky Elahu kayak, but I will work on the paddling technique
: a bit before I put a skeg in her.

Glad you enjoyed the area. My wife grew up down the road in Twin Mountain and spent many summers at Forest Lake. I drive by it every week on the way to band rehearsal.
