The thing that I most liked about Awlcraft is that it dries to recoat in 20-30 minutes, and you have to recoat in that time frame or you're screwed. So, an hour and a half to finish the boat.
It seems pretty tough. It's not impervious to scrapes, and rock scrapes leave a white streak, but I'm positive that the rock hits the hull has taken would have scratched through the primer on an automotive finish. It is not a finish for novices, though. The measuring needs to be pretty precise, and there is a base, catalyst, and reducer, and you have to have pretty good control of the application thickness or you'll get runs and sags. You still have to wet sand and buff, but it does turn out nice. It's hard, so it polishes well.
