Btw, not at all uncommon to find old production boats with the factory rigging still hanging on after 40 or even 50 years of use. Get one good storm and the then unstayed aluminum mast(s) get kinked, owners find out quick that the replacement rigging really was cheap, compared to a new mast and rigging.
