: The thing is though.. I kind of like the color of the stains! It's
: kind of a grey weathered wood color.
: Has anyone tried, or do you think it would work,
I have used the wool and vinegar blend to age pine and it does work great. I use other finishing products over the top but I have not tried epoxy. Try a light application to some strips and see what color you get. Pine mellows nicely but depending on the tannin in your wood the color could be darker our lighter. I have seen a pic on this site showing very dark staining. . I love the color it brings out in pine and have been thinking of using it on a canoe I'm working on in my garage. It is a chemical reaction not a filler so it may work with epoxy.
