Another question, I am new to the tools of the trade so forgive me, the first wood project I did was my guillemot but anyway what are the holes on either side of the cutter for? The holes are threaded. Looks to be about quarter inch coarse thread. Also is it missing a cap iron? Again new to the tools but trying.
