also...how did you determine that you wanted a 20 inch loom? what height shoulders are you planning on? the shoulder can also determine how forgiving the loom length will be.
you are sort of correct that most GP are not 96 inches long....generally they run from 84 inches to around 90 inches depending on the cut and the persons preference {looms , generally are between 19 and 21 inches with some shorter and some a little longer...but this is the average}
