Just E glass is fine for a kayak. I ordered mine bulk from Noah's, you should be able to find it online, the prices were pretty good. There are several techniques for applying glass, some people pour the epoxy on and use a spreader, which you may see on Nick's excellent videos, and some use a roller, see Rob Macks website. I have tried both, for big jobs I find the Rob Mack's method works best for me. One other thing, when you apply the epoxy the environment should be over 70 degrees, but make sure you do this with falling temperatures, as off- gassing of the wood can be a major concern ( off- gassing is where the wood as it warms releases gasses forming bubbles under the un cured resin), or at least it is in my hot climate.
