Similar in that tradition, my bike, a wee Honda 125 Innova had a slight problem for night driving, the headlight glare on my visor. I thought of making a F/G shield for it, or a woodstrip version, to block the glare but that would entail making molds or castings of the h/light shell. In the end I used some domestic sewer pipe I had laying around. Cut a section off, split it 'lengthwise', heated it and flattened it, heated it again and molded it directly to the h/light shell. Four bolts, a few coats of satin black paint. No glare! :D

And most people don't even realise it's not a standard part. :)
