Teak is generally resistant to any type of glue. Epoxy might work, but I would test it before trusting it. Generally when you work with teak all connections need to be mechanical to be trusted. It also has a reputation for not taking a finish well, though I have not found it to be that difficult to finish if the product is oil based.
You have probably already noticed, it is quite a bit heavier than most other woods. It is very hard on tools as the silica in the woods tends to wear out edges quickly.
You also need to take special precautions with the dust control as the dust can be pretty toxic.
