: anyone here use west systems 207 for wetting out glass ? i've used
: it for small glass wet out projects.
: i've always used mas low viscosity for wetting out a hull or deck
: job, now i want to use 207 and i'm just
: wondering if it will wet out as nice as mas ?
: thanks,
What reasons do you have to change to West 207? I have used MAS w/slow hardener for all applications with success. The MAS does have a slight tint to it but as a novice builder
I like this because it helps mask staples holes and strip/sanding mess-ups. Following Rob Macks instructions for wet out to the letter, I find it wets out right away when I apply the
epoxy. No mess no fuss. The only thing I do that is different to Rob Macks instructions is I stick the jug of epoxy and hardener into a bucket of hot tap water and the viscosity is like
water even after mixing. Super fast and thorough wet out.
