Thanks, Bill, the Okanagan (gonne have to learn to spell that name properly) Valley in BC is somewhat desert-like and rarely gets very little snow. That means I can paddle year round. It's where old paddlers go to be near big water and still be warm in Canada. Linda and I have talked about retiring in her home province and this surprise job possibility should make that possible. If everything happens they way they seem to be going, we will be mortgage free, have a nice house, a huge garden, fruit trees, only a few hours from the ocean and have many decent paddling lakes only minutes from home. We will be surrounded by low mountains and be a short drive from the high ones. Moving to heaven while still alive seems pretty ideal. Linda wants to be closer to her dad who is very very sick so there seems to be a reason why events are happening the way they are these days.
