I am not aware of any other way of solving the problem, other than stripping the glass with a heat gun and starting over, or living with poor cosmetics, or perhaps painting the hull to hide the blemishes.

Depends on how big the blisters are. Under close weave cloth biggish blisters can form, never mind the tiny craters formed by bubbles bursting on the surface of open weave cloth, which would be annoying enough.
