Cool, I have a sanding disc with about an inch of soft foam and velcro, seems to be the best thing so far. I have some cabinet scrapers but they seem to be too efficient when all I wanna do is get rid of the glue stalagmites or stalactites, since this is the deck upside down.

I feel like I'm cheating a little bit getting the recesses from you, but damn I wish it could have been the whole kayak.
