OK we decided to get a little more creative on the top side of the SUP. Being short and fat really changes what you can do from a pattern perspective (I am talking about the SUP, I am tall and fat). This is a rough draft of what it is going to look like. We got the stern piece done tonight in about 2 hours but we got a process down. The concave curves on the next piece should be a good challenge. We are doing it all with cedar that ranges from more white than pine to about dark hickory dark. Each peace will be seperated by a bass wood or walnut pin stripe.
