Paul,

Can you expand on the "ease of use test"? I was all set to try these until that comment. What would be the difference between the commercial set and the homebuilt as far as ease of use?
My preference is the Thule cradle set apparently used by Robert, but Ancient dude hit on a problem I have with them, the open cockpit to the rain. I lost one cover already.
