Hi Mike-

I would prep a fabric patch a bit larger than the hole, and glue it on with 3M 5200 Marine Sealant. Use it very sparingly to avoid too much squishing out under your patch into the hull, or around the edges of the patch on the outside. I would also put masking tape around the edge of the patch so that after sticking it down and smearing some of that 5200 around you can pull the tape off and not have any on your skin.

I'd go this route over PU glue because it's flexible. Use the fast cure, because even that takes a long time to cure. If you want to be really fast- paint the patch before you put it on, because the paint will dry faster than the 5200.

Make sure you clean the surface REALLY WELL before you do this to get of any and all residue of the Gorilla tape, or you won't get good adhesion. Use 3M adhesive remover, lacquer thinner, Goo Gone, or whatever you're comfortable with, then give it a quick wash with detergent to make sure all of the solvents are off.
