OK....dumb question of the day. For those who don't remember, I started this project 5 years ago. I purchased the wood, built the forms and got everything ready to go. Life happened and I am just getting it built now. That being said.......wait for it.

Why do I have these "notches" on form #9 ?? I know the tops are cut off so they can be removed easily when I strip the cutout. But that notch is killing me. The wood I'm using on the deck is about an inch wide and the twist is going to be fun enough.
