Yup. Definite race boat with under-hull mounted rudder (pretty standard tube held with a plate used on most skis). I'm building in extra control cable conduits so he can switch to a stern-mounted rudder for training and shallow water races. I'm delivering it on July 7th so he has it for the Blackburn Challenge on the 14th. The Blackburn is a 20+ mile offshore race around Cape Anne, Massachusetts (just North of Boston). It starts and ends in Gloucester. He's been training on a Stellar SR surf ski. The Sea Racer is a foot longer and over 2" narrower.
