International One part varnishes can be chemically over coated for up to one month, so they have still not achieved full hardness in that time.

I have put a boat in the water after a week, but you have to be a little careful not to batter it around still. If you put deck bungies on too soon even you can get pressure marks in the varnish.

It's hard to be patient at this stage isn't it?
