Hi John,
Carbon fibre is nice, I suppose, but it's expensive over here and impossible to get 'locally'. I'm comfortable with the weight of my G paddle, I find my Carlisle to be 'twitchy' in windy conditions, it being lighter than the GP. I've never had any problems with the GP in wind.
