Today I needed a very small batch of epoxy. I use the West System pumps but they deliver far more than I needed so I pulled the plunger from a 6 ml hypo syringe, plugged the nozzle and put in 1 ml of hardener. Adding the hardener first was best in case I put in too much so I could eject the excess. Then I topped it off with epoxy. I shot it all into a disposable plastic glass, mixed it up and tossed the syringe.

The syringes are available in hardeware stores catering to farmers and also veterinary supply stores, cost about a buck and change for a half-dozen. They come with two types of ends for fitting needles. I prefer the "luer-slip" type which has a short nozzle that can be used without a needle. If a needle needed - for injecting voids in ply and glass etc - then the "luer-lock" type may be better. Whichever type you use, the needle - if used - must be the same type as the syringe of course.

They are also great for precision placement of other glues, oil etc.
