Dora is my own design, the first one that worked! I made three before that which were dreadful but taught me a lot. Dora is a nice canoe, not particularly fast - only 12 ft - but very easy to drive and a comfortable ride in heavy weather. She had a tendency to windsock so I added a skeg: now she tracks like a train but is not very agile.

I like to explore small streams and such so I built another based on the same design but slightly shorter, about the size of a Wee Lassie, only used one ply sheet. That one has more rocker and a lowered stern to correct the windsocking, it should be a nice gunkholer but it's not finished yet - I got sidetracked by a sexy stripper.
