Material: Bonding ABS hatches? Sika or??

I'm going to install some KajakSport hatches on my current build.

The hull side of the bond is epoxy-fiberglass with Interlux 2-part PU paint coating (which can be scraped back to epoxy if necessary).

Hatch rims are ABS plastic.

KS (hatch manufacturer) recommends Sika 221 sealant, which doesn't seem to be available in Canada (291 is), after treating with Sika 215 primer (short shelf life, $150/tin here).

Help!

I don't want the hatch rim to end up in my hands when I yank on the cover, and I'd rather not use bolts on the rim if I can avoid it.

Thanks for suggestions- I've used 3M 5200 in the past for other bonding, but I don't know how well it will stick in this application. Sika has always seemed better in the 'stickiness' dept.
