Bulkhead time and I tried the soldiering wire trick but missed the mark. Next I went through the achieves and found what I call the almost method. I used my formerly bad bulkheads and hot glued little pieces of cardboard filling the voids around the edges. Then transferred to the new material and BAM! They fit like a glove.
